The bees were really busy today, perhaps working hard to get as much pollen as possible before winter sets in.

Bees were not the only thing taking advantage of the nice weather and the late season blooms. Although the butterflies weren't as populus as the bees, there were still quite a few out today.

Most of the sweet peppers are gone for the year but the numerous varieties of hot peppers remain offering colorful subjects for photographers.

These large leaves near the entrance to the Garden proper offer some interesting patterns and colors when backlit. They are so large that photographing them presents a challenge even in very light winds.
